Oh Babies! You may remember these two sweet faces from 6 months ago, my first twin newborn session! I cannot believe that they are already 6 months old, next month they will be going off to college with my baby boys! This family means the absolute world to me, no question. And it has been such an honor to capture them over the years. Love you C, J, J, M & of course, Gracie Dog. Note: Gracie Dog is quite disappointed to have taken the fall to no. 5 in rank.
An ‘old soul’ and a ‘farmer’s son’. Those are the words Ms. Clary used to describe her son’s as we were discussing her upcoming session at their Southern Virginia farm. And they were just that. D, a loveable, ready for the camera boy; P, a serious farmer, ‘I don’t have time for this mom’ boy. Two sweet boys; watching them during the session gave me a glimpse into my life a few years gown the road. Raising ALL boys in rural Virginia. Just loved seeing how two siblings can be so different, so unique, and both so amazing. I LOVED capturing this family. Watching the D jump the rocks in the River and posing for the camera to P checking out this tobacco crop with dad. Such a beautiful family. Here is a little sneak peek from their session!
Sadler family. I had the privilege of photographing Cora + her sweet family last night on Lake Gaston. It was a little farewell session for her as she embarks on a new journey in two weeks. You may remember this sweet face from a little over a year ago, her senior session! Just 12 months ago she was preparing for her last year, a senior at Brunswick Academy; and now is preparing to head off to college at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. This session was for her, a little memory to take with her to college. A memoir of the people that love her the most. Cora, good luck with your new endeavors. I know you will shine bright like you always do. You are simply an amazing young woman; I can only hope that my little men, in 15+ years, find someone as beautiful (inside + out) as you.
